At our animal hospital, we operate on an appointment-only basis Monday - Fridays 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. This allows us to provide personalized and timely care for each of our patients. We understand that emergencies can happen, and we will do our best to accommodate same-day appointments for urgent cases. However, we ask that you call ahead to schedule an appointment to ensure that we can provide the best care for your pet.
When you arrive for your appointment, we ask that you check in with our receptionist and then wait in the designated waiting area (dogs and cats have separate waiting areas to minimize their stress). This helps us to maintain a calm and organized environment for all of our patients. We also ask that you keep your pet on a leash or in a carrier while in the waiting room to prevent any potential conflicts with other animals. We have no restrictions on the number of people or pets in our waiting area.
If your pet is on a prescribed medication, we ask that you call 48 hours (about 2 days) ahead to request a refill. This allows us to prepare the medication and have it ready for you when you arrive. We also require a yearly check-up for all pets on long-term medications to ensure that the dosage and treatment plan are still appropriate for their health.
